Suzanne Hart, PhD

Suzanne Hart, PhD

Suzanne Hart, Ph.D., is a senior practitioner and Licensed Psychologist, and has been at ACGC since 2022. She specializes in evidence-based assessments and the evaluation and treatment of emotional and behavioral disorders, learning disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and attention disorders. Dr. Hart has extensive experience conducting neuropsychological, cognitive, achievement, personality, and forensic assessments, and she is also trained in providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy.

Dr. Hart earned both her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Sam Houston State University. She completed her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at the University of Houston, with all graduate programs accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). Dr. Hart completed her APA-accredited internship in Clinical Psychology at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Long School of Medicine, UT Health San Antonio.

Dr. Hart is an active member of APA and the Texas Psychological Association (TPA). She currently serves on three TPA committees: the Convention Planning Committee, Finance Committee, and Membership Committee. Previously, she served for two years on TPA’s Academic and Higher Education Committee.

Outside of ACGC, Dr. Hart enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband and four children—three young adult daughters and one teenaged son. She is also an enthusiastic supporter of LSU and Tulane sports and events.
