Lauren Schwartz, LPC-A

Lauren Schwartz is a compassionate and relational therapist who joined the Infant and Early Childhood (IEC) program in January 2026. Lauren partners with parents, caregivers, and childcare staff to support the social-emotional well-being of children and families. She is passionate about creating a nonjudgmental, supportive space where children and the adults in their lives feel understood, supported, and empowered.

Lauren received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University in 2021 and her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from West Texas A&M University in 2025. While completing her master’s degree, she worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), providing support to children with autism and gaining hands-on experience in behavioral interventions and skill-building strategies. She also completed clinical training working with children, adolescents, and families in community mental health settings. Lauren enjoys providing psychoeducation to families and childcare professionals, helping them understand emotional and behavioral concerns, therapy approaches, and practical tools to support children’s growth and regulation.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys discovering new music and making playlists, reading books, playing ultimate frisbee, and spending time with friends and family. She also loves planning her next adventure and finding meaningful ways to recharge.

How Lauren Can Help You

As a therapist, Lauren has experience supporting children and families navigating anxiety, emotional and behavioral regulation challenges, relational and attachment concerns, and the impacts of stress and trauma. Her work is grounded in trauma-informed and attachment-based care, and she draws from play-based interventions, family systems work, and cognitive-behavioral strategies to meet each family’s unique needs. She approaches therapy with curiosity, warmth, and collaboration, and values partnering closely with caregivers and care providers throughout the therapeutic process.
