Our Staff

Carissa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board-Approved Supervisor, and the Senior Programs Director at Austin Child Guidance Center. She brings more than 20 years of clinical and leadership experience across mental health, homelessness and housing, and public health programs. Carissa believes in the power of collaboration and prioritizes building healthy personal and professional relationships. Her professional passions include service and community involvement, and she volunteers with Meals on Wheels and at her son’s school. In her role, Carissa leads ACGC’s Therapy, Psychology, Intake & Client Support, Student & Intern, and Infant & Early Childhood teams. 
 

Outside of work, Carissa is an avid reader and enjoys strategy games like Mahjong.
