Lesley Lopez Viner, MS is the Director of Advocacy and Physician Services for the Travis County Medical Society (TCMS) in Austin, Texas. She leads the organization's legislative advocacy, public health, and practice management efforts. Prior to joining the TCMS in 2021, Lesley worked for Texas Medical Liability Trust (TMLT), a medical liability insurance provider, as the Assistant Vice President of the Risk Management Department. In this role, she led the department's practice review, continuing medical education (CME), and consultation services for over 20,000 physician policyholders. Lesley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Master of Science in Community Health Education, both from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. In 2011, she completed the Leadership Skills Certificate Program at The University of Texas at Austin's Continuing and Innovative Education Program. Lesley serves as an Advocacy Ambassador for the Susan G. Komen Center for Public Policy and is passionate about advocating for breast cancer awareness, research, funding, and equitable access to care.
