Andrea Ciceri, LCSW-S, is the Director of Therapy Services and has been with Austin Child Guidance Center since 2013. As the Director of Therapy Services, Andrea provides oversight to therapy programs and assists with new program initiatives. Prior to that, she coordinated the agency’s off-site therapy services.
Andrea is certified in both Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, and is also a Level 1 trainer for Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. Her areas of expertise and interest include infant/early childhood mental health, trauma, anxiety, and parent coaching. She has extensive experience providing therapy and consultation in community settings, including charter schools and childcare centers.
Andrea has led the organization in training clinicians in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, an evidence-based treatment for children ages 2-7. She has presented at local and statewide conferences on Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and the preschool classroom adaptation, Teacher-Child Interaction Therapy. She is passionate about providing high-quality, evidence-based treatments to children and families, and believes that working with parents and caregivers leads to the best treatment outcomes.
