Back to School Virtual Party For Children's Mental Health

For most families, going back to school is an exciting (and often stressful) event. Who will my teacher be? Will my friends be in my class? Will I make the team? What will I wear on the first day? Do I have all my supplies?

The start of the 2020 school year is already going to be much different. It will almost certainly come with a new level of anxiety, uncertainty, fear, and grief for children and parents alike.

This virtual fundraising event will provide practical ideas and encouragement in a FUN setting to help families navigate the uncertainty of the school year, while asking for corporate and individual support for children and families who need a deeper level of mental health care.

The mission of the Austin Child Guidance Center is to improve the mental health of children and their families through early intervention, diagnosis and treatment to help them develop the emotional skills to face life’s challenges.
